If Syria Doesn’t Make an Anarchist Out of You, Nothing Will

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad shakes hands with U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in DamascusIn the comments below, someone please try and tell me how many wars the United States Government is fighting, because I’m having a hard time keeping track. Maybe it’s just because there are so many new words for war now. In Afghanistan they called it the “War on Terror”, OK, not sure how you fight a war against an emotion, but at least they called it a war. In Iraq they were going to “disarm Saddam”, and that worked out pretty well, they invade and *poof* no weapons. Drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, and, well I’m not really sure how many other countries, these are called “Targeted Strikes Against Al Qeada”. They bombed Libya, that was called a “Kinetic Military Action”, and since most military actions involve movement, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a military action that wasn’t kinetic. Obama sent troops into Uganda of all places, I’m not even sure they assigned a name to that one. By the time they invade Iran they’ll probably call it operation “Sunshine for the Sand People”. I’m sure I’m missing a few, but you get the point. There’s quite a bit of fighting being done by the US Military right now.
