Written by It’s no secret that the Republican presidential primary makes the attacks of September 11th look like an episode of Sesame Street. Those lunatics are trying to pass off insane tax and regulatory agendas as free markets, and plans to lay waste to foreign lands for the sake of peace. You watch something like that, and you think “How could it get any worse?”
Enter the Democratic Party.
In one corner you have Hillary Clinton. A socialist by any measure, but with the common decency to lie about it. Whether she’s embezzling money, hiding her emails, or getting people killed at foreign embassies, she is perpetually embroiled in scandal. Her only hope of becoming president is calling you a misogynist for opposing her, combined with the stupidity of the average Democrat.
In the other corner, you have Bernie Sanders. Bernie is sick of Democrats pretending not to be socialists, he has the balls to tell you to your face. Once upon a time, this would have been political suicide in America, but thanks to public education and breeding practices that have us on the fast track to Idiocracy, Bernie has become an actual contender. Some people call him the Ron Paul of the left, but I call him the most dangerous man in America. Win or lose, Bernie Sanders is radicalizing the Democratic party, and the impact of his campaign will be felt for decades to come, assuming we aren’t all exterminated by the government before then.
Those other two schleps on the stage, I don’t even know why they were included. America is far too polarized right now for moderate milquetoast candidates in either party. There is a frenzied race towards non-existence in America right now, and the people are bloodthirsty.
