LibertyFest NYC Organizer Parks Domain, Changes Name

I reported in September that three events marketed to libertarians that were scheduled for this past fall had been “postponed”, but it looks like at least one of the events has been cancelled altogether, without any notice or refunds being issued by the organizer. LibertyFest NYC has been going on every fall since 2009, and was marketed as a fundraiser for 9/11 first responders. The organizer, Ian Cioffi has changed his name on Facebook to Ian Alexander, made his profile private, and the domain for the event, lfnyc.com, has been parked with GoDaddy. Ian had previously organized other events during the Ron Paul campaign, as well as Anarchy in the NYC, this past April.
