It would stand to reason, that if the people in power changed every 2, 4, and 6 years, the policies would change with them. As we’ve all seen, they never do, aside from becoming more aggressive.
It has been widely reported that the NSA has been spying on foreign leaders, including those allied with the US, such as in the case of Germany’s Angela Merkel. The Senate Intelligence Committee chair, Dianne Feinstein, has claimed the White House did not know about that, despite conflicting reports that Barack Obama in fact approved of it.
