Written by Lacking foreknowledge of what will be in the headlines when we all wake up this afternoon, I’m going to assume the world is still going to hell in a hand-basket by the time the show starts.
A cop gets shot at by a white guy on the road for no apparent reason at all. He shot back, but ultimately wound up crashing his cruiser, which then caught fire, as the suspect got away. Surprisingly enough, the police in Millis Massachusetts were none too happy about this. They ordered all the people in the surrounding areas to “shelter inside” not entirely dissimilar to what they had done while searching for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev after the Boston Bombing. Something tells me they don’t do this every time there is some kind of violent crime in Massachusetts, that would make police awful busy since there were upwards of 27,000 in 2013. Police must think they are pretty damn special.
Does this mean whitey is turning on the police too?
A guy in a wig and dress tried to go into a high school girls’ locker room. No charges have been filed because said male identifies as a transgender woman, and this thing that would see most boys suspended from schools is actually required by law under Title IX. Title IX, if you’re not familiar deals with sex discrimination in education, and in relation to transgender students, Wikipedia states the following on it;
In 2014, guidelines were issued by the U.S. Department of Education stating that transgender students are protected from sex-based discrimination under Title IX, and instructing public schools to treat transgender students consistent with their gender identity in single-sex classes, so that a student who identifies as a transgender boy is allowed entry to a boys-only class, and a student who identifies as a transgender girl is allowed entry to a girls-only class. The memo states in part that “[a]ll students, including transgender students and students who do not conform to sex stereotypes, are protected from sex-based discrimination under Title IX. Under Title IX, a recipient generally must treat transgender students consistent with their gender identity in all aspects of the planning, implementation, enrollment, operation, and evaluation of single-sex classes.”
But, uh, the locker room?
And it’s not just transphobic racist misogynists like me who think this is absolutely ridiculous. 150 girls staged a walk out in protest over having a male in their locker room. The school says they offered the 17 year old, who goes by the name Lila Perry, a gender neutral bathroom’ “She” however insisted that he be allowed to change in the girls locker room, because he’s apparently completely unaware of how completely weird that is, and expects everybody else to be uncomfortable to accommodate his mental illness.
In other news, Bernie Sanders wants to destroy 5.3 million manufacturing jobs with his minimum wage lunacy. CVS thinks they are solely responsible for people quitting smoking. If you talk bad about the police, you might get arrested. The Federal Reserve says the economy is improving, but I guess that’s easy to say when you get to print the money. About half of all immigrants collect welfare, but whose fault is that?
